INDEPENDENT ANALYSIS

October 2016. Our project's viability, financial capacity and expertise of our team has been independently assessed by the Tasmanian Development Board. The Coordinator General is set to provide a recommendation to State Cabinet in due course.

32% OVERSUBSCRIBED

September 2016: We're delighted to welcome over a dozen new shareholders into MWCC this past month, after a brief 30 day investment window achieved a fantastic 32% oversubscribed result. Our next capital raise will be conducted once planning is approved.

Tasmania's Next Big Thing in Tourism

JOURNEY & Destination

Silently rise 1270 metres above Tasmania's premier city. Soak in the scenery no matter your ability. Breathe crisp clean air. Skim misty clouds. Frolick in fresh snow. Discover new trails. Create memories. Unravel the mountain's story.

IMPROVED BEYOND CARBON NEUTRAL

CLEANER, SMARTER.

SWAP CARBON FOR HYDRO

1100 tonnes of carbon monoxide are emitted each and every year just to haul 430,000 people to the summit and back again. Our proposal can move up to 3.3 million people a year safelyand quietly, using 4 gigawatt hours of Tasmania's clean energy.

TAXPAYER TO TOURIST

SWITCH FUNDING MODEL

Ongoing conservation and Park Management isn't cheap. Since 1904, every Tasmanian has paid for the mountain's upkeep whilst tourists continue to visit for free.  When tourists are willing to pay for the experience, couldn't taxes be better spent elsewhere?

280 jobs

FROM CONSTRUCTION TO OPERATION & BEYOND

Over and above the 200 construction jobs during an 18 month installation phase, MWCC is projected to employ 80+ Tasmanians in full-time equivalent roles across hospitality, interpretation, engineering, adventure tourism + more!

$50+ MILLION

TOTAL PROJECT COST DELIVERY VALUE

Representing one of the largest private capital injections in Tasmania's tourism history, MWCC is definitely not cutting corners when it comes to delivering a holistic eco-tourism attraction. We don't just want to 'build' it; we can build it well.

~$89m IMPACT

INJECTED INTO STATE ECONOMY EVERY YEAR

Attracting wealth from outside Tasmania is key to improving the State's health and well-being, particularly during our slower winter months. From distributing wages, taxes and dividends in Tasmania, MWCC will be a responsible corporate citizen.
