What facilities will be at the summit?

The Pinnacle Centre includes free public lookouts, shelter, toilets and learning spaces, alongside a café, restaurant, bar and visitor services.

Further Detail:

The public facilities are designed to make a mountain visit safer, inclusive and more comfortable. They include accessible boardwalks and lookouts, an enclosed rooftop shelter, toilets and parenting facilities, public seating and informative displays about the mountain. A lift connects the building’s levels, and a first-aid room, emergency services storage and staff facilities support everyday operation.

The café, restaurant and bar offer places to warm up, enjoy Tasmanian produce or celebrate a special occasion. Sports lockers add convenience. MWCC’s solution ensures entry to the centre is free for everyone, whether they arrive by cableway, road or on foot, and using its public areas does not require a food or drink purchase.
