The service is planned around how people use the mountain at different times of year. Summer gives visitors more daylight for walking, riding and sightseeing, while winter brings snow experiences and a welcoming place to warm up. Evening services support the restaurant and bar so guests can enjoy a meal and return by cableway. Once approved, an operating timetable will show the first and last departures and seasonal hours.

The public rooftop shelter and lookouts have a different role: they will remain open around the clock for people reaching the summit independently, including early walkers, sunrise photographers and stargazers
